Awaken the Dreamer, Be The Change Leadership Training



The Pachamama Alliance head trainer from California, Jon Symes, and the founder of BeThe Change Earth Alliance (BTCEA), Maureen Jack-LaCroix, will be leading this training to become a Facilitator of the Awaken the Dreamer, Be The Change Program. The entire process of becoming a Facilitator is a profound, focused, challenging and deeply rewarding journey. We look forward to sharing this with you.
Training The Training provides the tools and process for putting on an Awaken The Dreamer - Be The Change Presentation and introducing action circles into the community. The Training is followed by a practicum for learning additional practical information and skills under the guidance of a mentor who is a trained facilitator and circle convenor.
Preparation The preparation begins as soon as you register for the training. The reading materials will immerse you in the information and concepts that form the heart of the Awaken the Dreamer Symposium and Be The Change program. You will also do some research and re-examine your own daily practices. This is valuable foundational work to enrich your experience of the weekend intensive.
Location The workshop will take place at Vancouver School of Theology, 6000 Iona Drive, Iona Building Tower, 6th floor, UBC. Click here to view a map of UBC.
Accommodation We are glad to announce that the Vancouver School of Theology will be offering participants discounted room accommodations.
Time The training will run from 6PM on Friday, March 12th until 5PM Sunday March 14th, with a Saturday evening interactive component.
Cost The total cost of the training is $195.00 CDN for tuition and includes a Training Notebook, printed Symposium Manual & DVDs of A/V materials, as well as lunches, light beverages & snacks throughout the weekend and dinner on Saturday night. Bursaries are available if needed.
